Metallic transferring foil “L” series - Total transfer

Description

Metallic transferring foils of great range of colors, with thermal-adhesive, thanks to their thickness is possible to obtain a MIRROR gloss effects.

Technical characteristics:

Roll of 150/250 mt – thickness 50 micron – width 1600 mm .

Application

The foil is applied by hot pressing.
Used on PU and PVC is supplied ready to be applied with thermal-adhesive sufficient to be coupled on the support.
Used on irregular materials (eg: leather) or surfaces that absorb a lot, we recommend pre-treating the material with a special polyurethane resin so you can get a good coupling of the foil with the material to be laminated.

Working conditions *

Hot Transferring with rotative press at temperature between 90° C and 110° C in function of the working speed: Pressure of 30-450 Kg/cmq for 2/3 seconds.

N.B.: Excessive heat involves burning the foil with the consequent loss of gloss.

Description

Metallic transferring foils of great range of colors, without thermal-adhesive, thanks to their thickness is possible to obtain a MIRROR gloss effects.

Technical characteristics

Roll of 150/250 mt – thickness 50 micron – width 1600 mm .

Application

The foil is applied by hot pressing, is without thermal-adhesive so that the support to be coupled requires a pretreatment with special polyurethane resins so you can get a good coupling of the foil with the material to be laminated.

Working conditions *

Transferring temperature: 90-110° C for PVC and PU. The pressure is about 10-20 Kg when the transfer foil is laminated to the support.
Different type of PVC, PU, leather or different processing machinery affect on the selection of temperature and speed.

N.B.: Una temperatura eccessiva comporta la bruciatura della lamina con la conseguente perdita di brillantezza.

PET release (protection film):
for a machine with good cooling effects, PET can be released after lamination. If the cooling effect is lower, it is advisable to wait for at least 24 hours before to detach PET.
